Lesson Guidelines & Program Policies

Instructional Program Objectives:
As your coach and instructor, my objective is to help you attain your tennis goals in a learning environment that is dynamic, informative, encouraging and fun! Each student receives an individual, custom program based on a variety of factors including: your skill level, the amount of time you dedicate to practice, and your overall objectives, i.e. tournament player, club player, social fun, etc. Together you and I will design your lesson plan to best meet your tennis goals.

Lesson Scheduling:
Weekly lessons, combined with at least 2-3 practice sessions, is encouraged to achieve continuous improvement. Although it is not required, I do prefer to reserve specific lesson times for each student on a weekly basis. Due to the challenge of scheduling lessons for everyone, those students who reserve a regular time each week will have scheduling priority.

Scheduling Changes:
If you have a regularly scheduled lesson and need to make a change for a specific week, please contact me as soon as possible so we can determine if a make-up lesson can be scheduled for the same week.

Cancellation Policy:
Twenty four (24) hours notice is required for all lesson cancellations. There is a full charge for any lesson cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled lesson time.

Inclement Weather:
In the event of rain within two hours before the scheduled lesson, it is most likely that the lesson will be cancelled. However, if it is not raining, or if rain has stopped within 2 hours or more of the scheduled lesson, there is a good chance that the lesson will be held. If there is any doubt, it is the student's responsibility to show up or call 949-278-7704 in advance to confirm. Time permitting, I will attempt to call you to confirm the status of the courts and if the lesson will be held as scheduled.

In the event it begins to rain during the lesson, there will be a pro-rated charge related to the hourly rate. We will make every effort to make-up the balance of the lesson in the same week, or carry the time over to the next lesson.

Please contact me if you have questions or would like to discuss an instructional program to improve your game.
